Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary - The forested area located amidst the Aravalli range was declared a wildlife sanctuary during the 1980s. This massive piece of wildlife haven is spread in an area of more than 280 sq. km. The forest mainly consists of sub tropical trees with hints large predators like tiger and lion inhabiting the jungle, though the only type of big cats that you’d see are leopards. If you’re a nature lover, the sanctuary is a fantastic place to explore the natural beauty and local flora and fauna. Some of the wild animal species that you can spot in the sanctuary are sambhar, wild hog, wild cats, bear, langur, mongoose, pangolin and few wild dogs. Nakki Lake - Counted amongst the biggest attractions in the hill station, Nakki Lake is ancient and sacred to the masses. As the legends say, it were the Gods who dug out the land using their nails to create a shelter against the wrath of evil Asura Bashkali.
