Motorola says Newly Introduced Droid Turbo 2 screen is unbreakable
Motorola believes cracked screens soon be a thing of the
past could be. In partnership with Verizon, Motorola introduced the Droid Turbo
2 on Tuesday 14th 2016 to be
the first mobile phone pretending with a shatterproof screen.
"People take it for granted that the screens would
break on mobile phones," said Rick Osterloh, Chairman of Motorola, in an
interview. "Our main finding was that we should not accept it."
The Droid Turbo 2 is shatterproof screen is a marvel of
engineering. The screen consists of five different layers, each of which is
designed shock absorber. On the back of the screen is an aluminum chassis that
is connected to the rest of the screen, the (most screens up kind of float to
the guts of the phone) causes the screen permanently.
The next layer is a flexible screen that looks and feels
like a kind of plastic laminate. Before that a flexible contact lens layer with
a flexible layer. And it's all topped off with a hard outer lens that acts as a
screen saver.
"We have three years to research and development to
make it," Osterloh said. "It was very difficult and took some great
engineering work."
