Lexington Cemetery, Lexington 

Although almost every other cemetery is rumored to be haunted, that is not the case with Lexington Cemetery. For years locals have complained about hearing weird voices and frightening screams from the mausoleum. Some have even claimed coming across a strange shadow, the mere presence of which is believed to throw people in to a fit of anger. While others said that they were suddenly taken over by a foul odor. Nobody knows what the truth is behind these stories. Waverly Hills Sanatorium, Louisville 

One of the most haunted places in the USA, Waverly Hills is believed to have seen deaths of more than 6,000 people. The internet is replete with weird stories about what went on in the sanatorium and the creepy things that are still taking place here. Finding shadow figures or hearing moans and screams have become an everyday thing. According to a legend, a pregnant nurse carrying a doctor’s child committed suicide in Room 502 after being rejected by the doctor. Her spirit is said to still roam in the halls of the sanatorium. Often dubbed as “The Most Haunted Nightclub in America,” Bobby Mackey’s Music World has been a part of almost every TV series covering haunted places in the USA.
