Minister’s book offers wisdom on moving past offenses

LITHONIA, Georgia (October 4, 2017) – The Sermon on the Mount advised Christians to “turn the other cheek,” so that we might avoid falling into a cycle of revenge and retaliation more harmful than the initial offense. Author, minister and philanthropist C. D. Dudley shares, in her new book, modern wisdom on turning the other cheek and moving past negativity to a fruitful life through love and joy.

The Fruit is Not for the Tree: How to Be Forgiving, Free and Fruitful When Offenses Come, is set to be published on Nov. 18, 2017, by MEWE LLC.

Offenses are bound to happen and it’s up to us to determine whether we become “withered and barren” from these experiences or, “bloom and bear good fruit.” Dudley guides readers on how to put God’s opinion above the ridicule of others “as you walk in your true purpose and calling to succeed.”

Dudley is a licensed minister and has held many Christian leadership roles. She’s an active member of her church. She has directed the children’s choir and dance ministries, and led Lighthouse Ministry and served in multi-site ministry.

Dudley is also an accomplished songwriter and musical producer with more than 70 songs to her credit. She is the creator of the CD-in-a-book “Sing with Me” Bible series, the executive producer of the interactive children’s show “Bible Boogie LIVE,” and she is the founder of the Judah Awards for music ministry.
