Minister’s book offers wisdom on moving past offensesby Abi D. Marketing
LITHONIA, Georgia (October 4, 2017) – The Sermon on the Mount advised Christians to “turn the other cheek,” so that we might avoid falling into a cycle of revenge and retaliation more harmful than the initial offense. Author, minister and philanthropist C. D. Dudley shares, in her new book, modern wisdom on turning the other cheek and moving past negativity to a fruitful life through love and joy.
The Fruit is Not for the Tree: How to Be Forgiving, Free and Fruitful When Offenses Come, is set to be published on Nov. 18, 2017, by MEWE LLC.
Offenses are bound to happen and it’s up to us to determine whether we become “withered and barren” from these experiences or, “bloom and bear good fruit.” Dudley guides readers on how to put God’s opinion above the ridicule of others “as you walk in your true purpose and calling to succeed.”
“This book takes you through the steps to move from being offended and bitter to a life of forgiveness and peace,” Dudley says. “If you have ever stayed up all night dwelling on what someone said to you or if you have felt down and depressed because of rejection, you need to read this book. If you want avoid those pitfalls or help others from taking the bait of offense, you need to read this book.”
