Microsoft Update Brings in Payments Feature inside Outlook

Microsoft, the big tech giant declared on 7th May 2018 that its payment service will now be a part of Outlook for making payments, a hassle-free task for its customers. This will also improve integration of bill payments and invoices into the emails. The company said that this update will make it easy for the developers to better engage with the users.

The company’s pay system will also make it simple for the users to pay directly via emails without moving to any other application. Microsoft mentioned that the earlier payment partners were Braintree and Stripe; whereas, billing service was rendered by Zuora. In addition, the invoicing services offered by Wave, FreshBooks, Invoice2Go, Xero, and Intuit will be the companies to work with Microsoft’s new Outlook capability.

The new feature Microsoft Pay will be made available to the specific Outlook.com users within next few weeks. For the rest of the users, it will take few months to get this Outlook capability. In addition, Outlook will also get Adaptive Cards for all the actionable messages. These cards will aid to combine notifications as well as conversation in a single message. Microsoft said that the format for these cards can be included in the emails, Team chats, and bots.
