MICAT (Mudra Institute of Communication Admission Test) is an entrance exam for admission in MBA programs from MICA, Ahmadabad. It is conducted for the candidates those who have already applied for the B- Schools via XAT, CMAT, CAT, MAT, GMAT or ATMA. MICAT is a combination of subjective and objective exam, i.e. candidates will have to answer subjective and objective questions as well. It is a national level exam. Without qualifying the exam candidates will not be able to take admission in MICA. Candidates those who are appearing in the exam should have knowledge about the MICAT Syllabus so that can read all the topics that are included for the exam. MICA is known for its specialized MBA programs in Communication therefore most of the questions in this section are based on marketing, media, films, advertising, etc. Level of questions asked in this section remains from moderate to tough as in other sections.
Quantitative ability is one of the major section of MBA entrance examination. But unlike other MBA exams, MICAT Syllabus does not contain questions from this section. Other sections of the exam depends on one's skills (imaginative and creative).
