Mega Star Chiranjeevi who is celebrating his 60th birthday on Aug 22nd, ahead of it unlocked his secrets.
As a Person
I
won’t think more but always try to satisfy people who expect more from
him. I won't get darker and in between us, I am not that fair. I share
all my feelings only with one person and she is my wife Surekha. After
my wife, I am close to Ram Charan, my daughters and Naga Babu.
On completing 60 years
I
never get that feeling that I completed 60 years Ram Charan, Surekha
and children told that it should be family function and I will be
celebrating with family.Mega family is always united. For me Pawan Kalyan and Ram Charan are two eyes. There is no question of both not meeting. We
always meet on Sundays, festivals, marriages etc. We will not discuss
politics as we both share different ideology politically.
On his dances
Though
I am away from dances for 8 years, I can dance with in split second
once the music starts. Just like Shruti Hasan in Race Gurram who smiles
with in herself, I always dance within myself.
On his 150th film
I
hope story for the film may get ready in one or two months. Director
will be based on story and not vice versa. At first we thought that Puri
Jagannath's Auto Jaani will suit me but second half did not satisfy
both of us. If I get any other subjects, depending on the story,
director will be finalized. All my family members show interest to star in 150 film but only in ‘Manam’ such perfect combination came.
On films, Directors and Direction
Directors and filmmakers know about me and so I don't agree with Ram Gopal Varma that I should direct my 150 film.I
watched Baahubali and loved it completely. I wondered that Telugu film
stamina increased so much. Hats off to Rajamouli's brave attempt. When
so much money was invested, one is not sure of the outcome. I am proud
as a Telugu person that Rajamouli went ahead with utmost self
confidence.
On Politics
One
can understand the plight of an artist who stay away from people
reaching near them. This is actually good opportunity. When I was in
films I couldn't give shake hands but things changes in politics.
Congress party which I am presently in is not my own party. So I cannot
have personal likes and dislikes. I don't think I and Pawan Kalyan will
meet politically.
Political experience
No
person would have had so many experiences and variations like me in
politics. I started a party won and lost in the first elections and
later became an MP and then Union Minister. This is a costly experience.
Only I know the emotional experience I underwent after resigning and
participating in Samaikyandhra movement. I will work hard to get what AP
needs and at present special status is the first target. I decided to
fight for it along with everyone. Congress may get chance to rule and
PM Modi's rule is only confined to false promises.
