After the boycott of 59 Chinese applications in India, India has now begun to stroll on the way of being self-sufficient. After Tiktok Ban, Indian new businesses and notable IT startups have hit the market with several alternatives of Tik Tok and different applications as well.

On Sunday, VP of India “Venkaiah Naidu” introduced the made in India social media application which is names as “Elyments”. He stated that the app has been developed by a huge number of I.T professionals around 1000 that worked voluntarily at Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s “Art of Living Foundation”.

Elyments Creators claimed that it is India's first social media application and will be popular across the country such as famous social media platforms - for example, Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. Not only this, they also believe that this will work progressively as a big competitor for famous social media apps and phone cleaner apps (as Elyments will allow users to stick to one particular app instead of random multiple apps).

The creators of this app also stated that Elyments is a host of multiple, creative features. For example, it comes with a camera feature that has built-in filters and augmented reality (AR) characters like that of Snapchat. The app also has messaging and group chatting capabilities. Users can share videos, files, documents and copy data and also get news updates about a variety of topics from across the country.

Elyments App is available to download from Google Play Store in 8 regional languages. The app has been accepted by the larger audience just after its release. It has recently been downloaded by 1+ million users.

Notably, the launch of this app on such a massive scale, indicates that India has fastened its belts to combat the competition against big Chinese applications. So, a rivalry is getting to be started on this level too.
