The Manipal Academy of Higher Education conducts the Manipal University Online Entrance Test, also referred as MU OET, will be held in the month of April-May 2016. The MU OET 2016 Application form has been changed to an online form by the Manipal University. The candidates who want to take the MU OET 2016 (Manipal University Online Entrance Test 2016) will be required to fill the online Application form.
The candidates have to register themselves through the official website of the Manipal University in order to fill the MU OET 2016 Online Application form. The candidates must register in order to successfully apply for the exam and fill the MU OET Application form. The application form is likely to be released in the third week of September 2015. The last date to submit the application form will be the second week of March 2016.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidates must have completed their 12 class exams or an equivalent from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • The candidates must have Physics, Mathematics and English as core subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology.


To give the Manipal University Online Entrance Test 2016,candidates have to satisfy all the eligibility condition.

Online Registration Procedure

  • The first step is to visit the official website of the Manipal University.
  • Click on the link indicating ‘Register Online’.
  • You will now be required to enter the following details – 
1. Name of the candidate
2. Email address
3. Mobile number
4. Name of the course
5. Date
6. City

  • Once you have entered the above details, click on ‘Apply now’ in order to successfully register with the Manipal University.
  • You will now be asked to fill the MU OET 2016 Application form with the following details –

1. First name of the candidate
2. Last name of the candidate
3. Gender
4. Email Address
5. Mobile number
6. Date of birth
7. Program
8. Stream
9. Category
10. Country
11. State
12. City
13. Nationality

  • There will be sections for Selection of Programs, contact information and educational qualifications which need to be filled accurately.
  • Make sure you enter valid information or your application form is likely to get rejected.
  • Click on ‘submit’ after entering all the details.


Selection Procedure

  • The candidates will be ranked according to their scores in the Manipal University Online Entrance Test 2016.
  • Based on these ranks the candidates will be allotted seats.
  • However, the allotment of seats will also depend on the following factors –


1. Number of seats available in the college
2. Number of seats available in a course
3. Merit list according to the ranks of the candidates
4. Opening and closing ranks

  • The candidates who finally qualify the test will be asked to give their preference for counseling dates.
