- Chamundi Hills: These hills are best known for housing the highly auspicious and famous Chamundeshwari Temple. This temple sits atop the main hill and attracts devotees and pilgrims from around the country. There is an ancient stone stairway of more than 1000 steps found in the Chamundi hills through which people have to reach this temple. This temple has a quadrangular structure and has been named after goddess Chamundi.
