The luxury car market in this world is growing and the growth will not stop. The leading brands like Rolls Royce luxury cloud and Bentley GT are creating waves in the international markets with their huge demands. Although it is not the cup of tea for the common man to purchase these cars but their class itself speaks because of their high designs and all parameters related to modern engineering.

The Rolls Royce silver cloud is a luxury car and this car was initially manufactured from the year 1955-66. During this period, it was the core model and one cannot deny this fact. The silver cloud was later replaced by the silver dawn and it was later replaced by another brand called the silver shadow.

The doors of the cars are made of the aluminium based light weight alloy. This metal is also used for the boot/trunk lid. When it came to the chassis, it was a simple steel box section. The weight of the car was around touching 2 tonnes. The car also had the 4 speed automatic speed transmission. The turning circle of the car exceeded 41 feet. In the year 1956, there was the availability of air conditioning in this car and also the power steering. IN September 1957, there was the availability of long base and this offered the improved leg space for the passengers that sat on the rear seat.  After this came the Rolls Royce cloud 2 and this was introduced in the year 1959.

After these brands, a new brand of Rolls Royce by the name Rolls Royce Luxury shadow came in the market and the brand was launched between the years from 1965 -80. This car was made in Great Britain and was first to use the monocoque chassis. In the present times, this particular brand of Rolls Royce is largest as per the production volume is concerned. It has go the standard wheelbase silver shadow that measures 224 inches. The silver shadow 2 was made during the period from 1977-80.

Initially this particular model of Rolls Royce car was to be called as the Silver Mist and this was considered to be the natural progression of the former model called Silver mist. The Rolls Royce silver shadow has the engineering design that is advanced compared to the predecessors. Driving the rolls Royce car is a great experience and one cannot forget this fact. This car is associated with the class and style that is cut above the rest. When the person travels in rolls Royce, it speaks about itself.
