Find Out Where Quicken Data Files Are Stored

Quicken 2019 is very flexible and can not only manage your personal finances but also the financing of special projects that you can manage or finance for your small business. You do not need different software products for these other projects; Instead, Quicken akes can create a new data file with specific information for each additional project.

How many fast data files can you have?

You can have many fast data files, as many as you want, and all can be created in the same software. For example, you may have one for a personal project together with the school's parent-teacher organization, both of which have been kept separate from your personal financial data.

Find the Quicken data file on your hard drive

You can go through your hard drive on your hard drive through Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder where Quicken saves your files. This is usually the folder C: / Program Files / Quicken / Data ("C: /" is the character assigned to the hard disk in most computers). This is the default location set in Quicken where the data files are saved.

If you have trouble finding a data file for quicken, you can search all of the Quicken data files stored on your computer by following these steps:

Create a copy of the current file and save it with the new name you choose. All account, transaction and budget information that you entered in the original Qdata file is copied into this new file. Creation and name of a new fast data file
