Kanchipuram – South India is famous for this type of sarees. There are many villages in southern part that are famous for the weaving of Kanchipuram sarees.

Banarasi – Benaras is the place where you should be if you are in search of silk saree. This Indian city which was once regarded as a seat of Hindu culture has unique collections of silk saree in varied designs.
