LG Stylo 2 V, the First MediaTek-Powered Smartphone Launched

Verizon is adding a new LG device to its lineup. It has unveiled the first-ever MediaTek-powered super-phone - the LG Stylo 2 V. This handset launch shall mark MediaTek's debut as a certified smartphone chipset provider to Verizon Wireless. 

The LG’s lower-midrange phablet, the LG Stylo 2 V delivers uncompromised quality, features and technology, however, the design is quite similar to previous Smartphone from the series. It runs the latest MediaTek Helio P10 which is a richly integrated SoC that guarantees high-performance, power-efficiency and sleek mobile designs.

As per the MediaTek Vice President and General Manager of U.S. Business Development, Mohit Bhushan, the MediaTek has devoted all their skills and worked diligently to prove its silicon and software capabilities in order to develop a a best-in-class phablet device that meets high quality expectations.

About MediaTek Helio P10

MediaTek Helio P10 is a high-performance 4G LTE octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. Ranging from its P-series power-efficient & performance-based SoCs to extreme computing performance X-series devices - the MediaTek's modem has progressed through the Helio family of chipsets. The MediaTek Helio P10 incorporates a variety of multimedia features like gaming-quality graphics, 1080p video recording and HD screen support. Those in the premium chipsets category have additional host of technology like power superior hi-fidelity, hi-clarity audio and dual-camera features for increased light capture and enhanced color resolution.

The LG Stylo 2 V is a 5.7" mobile phone with HD display. It runs Android Marshmallow OS with 1.8GHz octa-core processor. It also supports a 1080p HD video recording.
