Located in Fort Nahargarh, the museum is one of Jaipur’s biggest attractions and tourists from all over the world visit it to catch a glimpse of the lifelike replicas of the celebrities.

If you have kids with you then head straight to the Kids Section. The Kids Section is quite popular not just among kids but grown ups as well. Here you will come face to face with replicas of some famous cartoon characters as well as superheroes like Spiderman, Ironman, Nobita, and many others. The Royal Darbar


Take a peek into the glorious history of Jaipur and Rajasthan by visiting the Royal Darbar. The durbar comprises two galleries and located here are the wax statues of some of the greatest rulers and personalities of Rajputana like Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh and Maharani Gayatri Devi. The walls are adorned with marvellous portraits of rulers as well as paintings depicting the region’s history. 


The One Minute Maharaja


Want to look like a Maharaja? Then The One Minute Maharaja is the place to be. Located in the Sheesh Mahal area, this section comprises a wide array of garments like the ones worn by the royalty. Wearing these elaborate and well designed garments would surely give you a look and feel of royalty. You would definitely bring back a lot of lovely memories.


The Hall of Icons


The Hall of Icon is home to the wax statues of leading personalities ranging from Bollywood and sports to political and historical figures. Some of these personalities include the Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Jackie Chan, Deepika Padukone, Mahatma Gandhi, Rabindranath Tagore, Mother Teresa and many others. The wax statues have been created with the highest precision by capable artisans and look almost real. This is a not be missed section of the Jaipur Wax Museum.


When to visit


Summers in Jaipur can get quite hot and uncomfortable. Thus the best time to visit the Jaipur Wax Museum is in the winter between October and March.
