High voltage led strip lights are different from low voltage led strip lights in that they can be directly connected to the high voltage of 220V, without the need for a transformer (but they still require a driver). A high voltage led strip light is more cost effective and stable than a low voltage led strip light, but its disadvantage is that its luminance is too high, more dazzling, and easier to strobe. Therefore, although high voltage outdoor led strip can also be used for home space, less and less people use it, more for outdoor lighting, municipal lighting.

As one of the traditional light sources, T5 tube lights offer light uniformity, easy maintenance, but with LEDs' stability and longevity, the easy maintenance characteristics of T5 tube led lights are becoming less desirable. Furthermore, T5 lighting has a relatively high brightness, so in the home environment it can easily be too dazzling, so it is more suitable for commercial applications.
