OBC candidates now have one last chance to get that coveted seat at a college in Delhi University. Following the closure of admission according to the fifth cut the list, schools students will be capable of including reserved categories, as well as the general category for all the seats allocated to the CBO revenue that goes empty.
"The fifth list is the last chance for Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates to apply for admission in DU. Once income near the university offers a list of students belonging to other categories such as share Kashmiri migrants, physically disabled and war widows share, "said Ray Ujjaini, media coordinator, Lady Sri Ram (LSR) College.

In schools like Kamla Nehru, LSR, Hansraj and Hindu College, cut for students belonging to OBC category has been reduced by a strong 10% in the fourth list. Most courses such as history, mathematics, philosophy, psychology and political science now have a cutoff between 61-85%.

"The idea is to encourage more students to take admission OBC as possible. However, going by the trend, B.Com (Hons) and Economics (Honours) is likely to be filled first, while other issues such as psychology and political science is likely to face less of a hurry. So this period should be taken as a warning for OBC students who have not had access yet, "said Ray.
