There are a couple of caveats before bidding that you might want to be aware of. For instance, before you decide to bid on cheap rural land, certify that you have completed your due diligence and your homework on the land that you intend on buying. Here is a list of some of the details that you should take note of: assessors’ parcel number or more commonly known by the acronym APN, parcel size, location, time limit to build, power and water situation, phone capabilities, whether there is a sewer or septic tank, infrastructure, property dues and taxes, the type of terrain i.e. Rocky, hilly, flat, mountainous, etc., and finally we have zoning.

After conducting some brief research here in regards to a number of these properties, it does appear that the majority of listings do contain lots of helpful details that should enable you to make an informed and educated decision.
