Every Indian girl has a constant problem as to what to wear today? Well this blog would be exciting for all the girls out there, not the stereotypes one, but generally for the rest. All you need to know before deciding what to wear is that, what the occasion demands with the combination in which you are comfortable and suits your look. Here is a list of types of dresses which you could prefer in certain occasions:

1-      SHIFT DRESSES- it was mainly the trends of the 1960’s and had short sleeves with a simple shape. It would be suitable for the ones with a lean, column-esque body shape, who appears upright and straight. To give the look an edge, you could add on a mid-waist jacket and a pair of high-knee boots.

2-      BODYCON DRESSES- it is tight fitting dress and could be used and preferred by those who have nice curves to flaunt. It has smart and classy look. It is mostly of a stretchy material and is perfect for evening dates or night out in a town. You can use a sling bag to add on to your look. You can use sneakers or heels with it.

3-      A-LINE DRESSES- It fits at the hips and gradually flares out towards the hem, which gives an A shape to the dress. It can be used for casual meeting and occasions. It is best suited for pear shaped bodies. It adds-on a feminine touch to your lower half.

4-      WRAP DRESSES- it features a front closure by a wrap on one side of the dress with a tie look on the fabric. It is perfect for athletic body shapes, as it creates a false look of an hourglass figure, even if you don’t have one naturally.

5-      HALTER DRESSES- with a strapless or sleeveless upper half, with a tie around your neck, halter dresses are best suited to be used during the summer. Some halter neck dresses don’t have a bow but fabric secured around the neck. If you want to show off your beautiful shoulders, this type of dress is best suited for you.

6-      HIGH LOW DRESSES- it is a form of asymmetrical dress and is typically longer at the back side and shorter at the front. This shape works with casual dresses as well as the ballgowns. It is perfect for those who wish to show off their sexy pins. The look is perfect with high heels, so that the back of the dress doesn’t drag on the floor.

7-      SWEATER DRESSES- This type of dress is in knitted form. It came in various styles and different lengths. It can be form fitting or loose fit. Thigh high boots or a sneaker would completely make your look perfect.

8-      PENCIL DRESSES- pencil dress is the perfect dress if you want to impress anyone or when you want to put a nice impression on your office mates. It is typically nipped in at the waist, with a hem that hits below the knee and has no frills or flounce. It is great for a date night. With a neck plunging line or a turtleneck it looks very nice.

9-      T-SHIRT DRESSES- it is the ultimate casual dress suitable for a movie date or a snack treat. It would be preferred with a belt and a sneaker adding on a casual sporty look to your personality.
