Kerala TET 2015 – The entrance exam of Kerala TET 2015 will be held on 3 and 17 October, 2015. The official notification has been released by the pareeksha bhawan. This post will offer you complete details on the exam such as the eligibility, application form, exam pattern; admit card, important dates and result etc. The exam will be held for the recruitment of the teachers at the primary and secondary level in the schools of Kerala.

NOTE:

If one has the requisite educational qualifications and wants to be considered for more than one category, can mention the same in the application of Kerala TET 2015 and take the exams.

Kerala TET 2015 – Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility criteria will be the set of conditions which must be satisfied by all the candidates in order to be eligible for the exam. All the candidates should satisfy these conditions so as to be eligible for the recruitments. If the candidates are not eligible for the exam of Kerala TET, they will not be considered.

As the Kerala TET 2015 will be organized for various levels of teaching, we are hosting the complete details level wise on this page for all candidates.

Lower Primary Teacher – Category 1:

For this level the list of minimum acceptable qualifications are:

• Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary or any other equivalent exam which is considered equivalent to it is to be passed with a minimum aggregate of 45%. The candidate must have received the certificate of Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) by the Board of Exam, Kerala.

OR

• The passing of the above mentioned exam with 45% aggregate marks and 2 year diploma in Elementary Education having accordance with the NCTE will also be eligible for the Kerala TET 2015 Exam.

OR

• The passing of Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary exam with 50% (at least) aggregate and 2 year diploma in Special Education will also make the candidates eligible for Kerala TET 2015.

Relaxation of Marks:

• SC/ST and Differently Abled: 5%

• OBC/OEC: 3%

Kerala TET 2015 – Exam Pattern for Category 1:

• Number of questions: 150

• Marks for one question: ONE

Child Development and Pedagogical Section: 30 MCQs for 30 Marks
Maths: 30 MCQs for 30 Marks
Environmental Studies: 30 MCQs for 30 Marks
Language I: 30 MCQs for 30 Marks

Kerala TET 2015 – Category 2 for Upper Primary Teachers:


Academic Requirement:

• B.Sc./B.A./B.Com.

AND

• Trained Teachers’ Certificate (TTC) / 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education

OR

• B.Sc./B.A./B.Com. with 45% marks and I year B. ED. under NCTE

OR

• Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 4 years B. El. Ed.

OR

• Senior Secondary or Higher Secondary with 50% marks and 4 years BA / B. SC. Ed. or B. A. Ed. or B. Sc. Ed.

Kerala TET 2015 – Relaxations:

• SC/ST and Differently Abled: 5%

• OBC/OEC: 3%

Exam Pattern:

• 150 MCQs of 150 marks

• Child Development and Pedagogy: 30 MCQs of 30 Marks

• Maths and Science OR Social Studies OR any other teachers: 60 MCQs of 60 Marks

• Language I: 30 MCQs of 30 Marks

• Language II: 30 MCQs of 30 Marks

Kerala TET 2015 Exam – Category III for High School Classes:

Academic Requirements:

• B.Ed. Degree in the subject concerned and BA/BSc/B.Com with at least 45% marks

• For Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology, a minimum of 50% marks in MSc.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject from one of the Regional Institutes of Education under NCERT is required.

• For Botany and Zoology subjects, a minimum of 50% marks in MSc. Ed. Degree in Life Sciences from any of the Regional Institutes is required to be eligible for Kerala TET.

Kerala TET Exam – Relaxations for Category III:

• SC/ST and Differently Abled: 5%

• OBC/OEC: 3%

Pattern of Exam:

• 150 MCQs of 150 Marks

• Theories of Learning, Adolescent Psychology, and Teaching Aptitude: 40 MCQs of 40 Marks

• Language: 30 MCQs of 30 Marks

• Subject Specific Areas: 80 MCQs of 80 Marks

Kerala TET 2015 Exam – Category 4:
This level exam will be conducted for recruitment of teachers of Physical Education, language and Specialist teachers.

Academic Requirements:

Proper certificate or diploma or degree in a particular subject is mandatory. Refer to the official handbook for the details.
Kerala TET Exam – Relaxations for Category IV:

• SC/ST and Differently Abled: 5%

• OBC/OEC: 3%

Pattern of Exam:

• 150 MCQs of 150 Marks

• Child Development, Teacher Aptitude & Pedagogy: 30 MCQs of 30 Marks

• Language: 40 MCQs of 40 Marks

• Subject Specific Paper: 80 MCQs of 80 Marks

Kerala TET 2015 – Minimum Qualifying Marks:

• One has to score 60% marks (at least) in the exam to pass it.

• Relaxation of 5% marks has been provided to the candidates of SC, ST, OBC and PH candidates.

Form Fee:

• General: Rs 500

• ST, SC, and PH: Rs 250

• The next step in the submission of Application for the exam of Kerala TET 2015 is the submission of fee via Bank Challan.

• After the submission of challan details in the online form, one should verify the details filled in application form and press the final submit button.

• This shall complete the form submission.

Admit Card:

• Admit card will be released online and will be hosted on this page for all candidates.

• If the admit card gets lost, one has to pay Rs 100 for the issue of a duplicate one.

• The admit card is a mandatory document to be brought on the day of Kerala TET 2015.

Result and Answer Keys:

• The official answer key will be released after the exam and the result will be hosted online on the official website within 5 days of answer key hosting.
