In this era of stress and pollution, hair loss has been an ongoing problem for everybody. And it has now become vital for us to maintain our hair and prevent them from hair loss in order to have strong and healthy hair. Here are some simple tips that will help you keep hair loss at bay.

Oil them up: Oiling your hair on a regular basis does immense good .Using any oil to massage your head will strengthen your hair and moisturize them. This will in turn protect your hair from any potential damage.

Aromatherapy: Aromatherapy, though not very well known to prevent hair loss, it has been proven that using castor oil along with almond oil and a few drops of rosemary oil, helps in controlling hair fall faster.

Eggs: Eggs are a very rich source of proteins and is very effective in preventing hair loss. Eggs mixed along with olive oil make the ideal hair pack to control hair fall. The way you go about doing this is : take one egg white, 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil, beat it into a thick paste and apply it to the scalp. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and then wash off and shampoo as usual.

Take your vitamins: Keeping up your vitamin intake is very essential if you want to effectively prevent hair fall. Vitamin C, to be specific, is an essential component for hair strength.

Amla, also known as the Indian Gooseberry is a rich source of vitamin C.

You can apply amla juice to your hair or you could consume amla, both of which will make your hair shinier, stronger and resistant to hair fall.

Yoga: Out of the numerous other benefits that yoga has on our body, it also helps control hair fall to a considerable level. Because it alleviates the stress and leaves you feeling refreshed. It also increases the blood circulation to the scalp making your hair roots stronger.

Acupressure: acupressure increases the circulation to your hair. To do this you need to: sit in the padmasana pose, bring your fingers together, and rub your nail bed against each other.

Keep your iron in check: Iron deficiency is one of the major causes of hair fall in today’s generation. Make sure you are getting enough dietary iron through foods like fish, beans, green leafy vegetables etc.

You can also take Iron supplements .i.e. Ask your doctor to prescribe you iron tablets according to your needs.

Maintaining a healthy diet:  Your diet plays an important role in preventing hair loss. Proteins are very important to control hair fall, therefore you need to include a lot of protein rich food like eggs and other nutrients in your diet by eating, fish, meat, red kidney beans, legumes etc.

Keep away from the pollution: Pollution and dust particles can be very harmful to your hair. It is advisable to cover your hair and tie them up while outside. This will help protect your hair from damage.

Moreover, frequent styling of hair like straightening and curling can cause significant harm to your hair and result in hair loss
