KC offering free QuickBooks class on Nov. 8

Kishwaukee College and the DeKalb County Nonprofit Partnership are joining hands to provide a free QuickBooks 101 class for nonprofit professionals. The distribution will be from 2 to 5 pm on November 8, 2017 in Room A1221 at the college. All the participants should enter through Door 16 and park in Lot A/South. Only the registered participants will get the free QuickBooks, which is an accounting software designed mainly for small-and mid-size businesses.

The software is mostly used by nonprofit organizations to record and organize financial activities efficiently. The QuickBooks 101 class will include basic functions, set-up, vendor and expense transactions, customer and sales transactions, banking and list items. Dawn Heid, owner of Profit Partners Consulting Inc. will teach the QuickBooks 101 class to the participants.

Profit Partners Consulting, Inc. is an accounting organization engaged in providing QuickBooks training and guidance together with bookkeeping services for local small business. The company also provides required small business services, including flexible monthly, quarterly/annual bookkeeping services, onsite QuickBooks training and troubleshooting and bookkeeping corrections. They also hold an expertise in small business cost account consulting.
