Jodhpur National University (JNU): Education at its best

These are the words by our own former President Mr. Abdul Kalam who was & will always be loved by the entire nation. Jodhpur National University surely makes these words come alive. This is a place where not just the knowledge is imparted to the students but also it is made sure that they are groomed to stand out in this competitive world in every aspect once they step out from here. Let it be in the field of engineering, medical, management, arts, commerce or law, Jodhpur National University has succeeded in providing not only excellent but also experienced knowledge to its students from past 7 years.

Jodhpur National University was born in the year 2008 and since then the journey has been impeccable. It started as small initiative towards serving the society but in these many years it has grown to a massive institution of education for all the students in Jodhpur & all over India. It is the first private university created under the State Government Private University Act & has pioneered the concept of technical and professional education in the Western part of Rajasthan.

If a survey is conducted about student’s expectations, what does a student need from an educational institution? I am sure the answers would be somewhat similar like faculties, infrastructure, facilities, fees, placement options etc. “Jodhpur National University” is definitely the answer to all the expectations of the student. Faculties which are experienced, infrastructure which is housed in a campus of 30 acres, fees affordable, plenty of placement options for students to choose from.

Within such short span Jodhpur National University has achieved immense appreciation & trust in the field of education in India. Just 2 years back on 2nd convocation, Jodhpur National University was proud to award the a Doctorate in Literature to legendry actor Shri Amitabh Bachchan for his exemplary contribution to Indian cinema and the first honorary doctorate in hospitality and business management was awarded to Capt CP Krishnan Nair, founder chairman and chairman emeritus of The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts.

And I guess this is just the beginning, Jodhpur National University has many such milestones to achieve in coming years.
