JEE Main Exam Center 2019

National Testing Agency has released the list of JEE Main Exam Center 2019 on its official website.  The candidates can visit the official website and check their Exam Centers through the NTA official websites. Candidates will have to select the test city where they wish to take the exam for the April session. The venue of exam centres will be across different cities and states of the country and also in different parts of the world. While filling the application form, the candidates will have to choose a maximum of 4 exam centre cities from 264 test cities in India and 9 abroad. In case, the exam cities are less than 4, then candidates will have to choose the exam centres as per their availability. The complete name and address of the allotted exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card of the candidates. It is advised that candidates should visit their allotted exam centre a day before the exam to be familiar with the way and the destination to avoid distortions and delays on the day of the JEE Main 2019 examination.

Important Facts of the JEE Main Exam Centers

  • National Testing Agency provides the list of tentative Exam City before hand.
  • The candidates are allowed to choose a maximum of 4 choices for JEE Main Exam Center.
  • Indian Candidates would get their Exam Centers in India.
  • NRI Candidates would be given the Exam Centers in the respective countries outside India.
  • Candidates are advised to choose exam centres wisely while filling the application forms. Candidates must consider the time, distance and accessibility of the exam centres.
  • Allotment of centres and shift has been randomly done by the authorities
  • Authorities have already declared the slots and centres since October 5, 2018

How to Choose JEE Main Exam Centers?


The candidates would be asked to choose the Exam Centers while they are applying for the Examination. At all the JEE Main exam center cities, the question paper will be provided in both English and Hindi medium. While the city for JEE Mains Centres chosen as Gujarat, Daman & Diu and Dadra and Nagar Haveli, the medium of question paper will be Hindi, English and Gujarati.

While filling the application forms, the candidate needs to choose among 4 Exam Centers.


Remember these important facts:


·  Choose the Exam Center which is near to your Native place.

·  Do not choose Exam City to far of places.

· NTA does not provide any Transportation Fee to the candidates appearing in the examination.

· Make sure you download your JEE Main Admit Card 2019 before the exam date.

· Exact location of the exam center will be mentioned on the Admit card only.

National Testing Agency has a separate link for the Exam Center Locator. The candidates would be able to visit the link and locate their exam center.


· Visit the link for JEE Main Exam Center Locator.

·  Select the Exam Center from the drop-down menu.

·  The Exam Center Locator will show the Map of the Exam Center.

· The candidates can follow the maps and save it to visit the Exam Center and would not have any problem finding their Exam Halls.
