JEE Main Application Form to be Issued in November 2015

The JEE Main 2016 Application Form will be released by the Central Board of Secondary Education most probably in the first week of November 2015. The candidates can apply for the JEE Main 2016 online as it will only be available online. There is no provision made for candidates to fill the JEE Main Application form offline or via any other medium. The candidates must adhere to the given format while filling the JEE Main Online form. The application form of JEE Main 2016 is to be filled in a three step procedure. The candidates must follow the guidelines carefully in order to avoid any errors in the JEE Main 2016 Application Form.

Online JEE Main Application Form 2016

• The first step is to visit the official website of the JEE Main.
• Click on the link indicating ‘Register’.
• You must fill in valid details in order to successfully register with the JEE Main.
• You must choose a password for future use. This will be asked when you want to log in to your JEE Main account.
• Now fill the Part-I of the JEE Main 2016 Application form and submit once you have entered all the required details.
• Once you complete this step an application number will be given to you. This number is crucial in the process of application for the JEE Main 2016 and must be noted down by the candidate.
• You will now be asked to enter your unique ‘Application number’ and ‘password’.
• Upload the scanned copy of your passport size photograph in jpeg format with the dimensions 3.5x4.5 cm.
• Now, upload the scanned copy of your signature in jpeg format with the dimensions 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm.
• Verify your details, entered in JEE Main Application Form, before you click on ‘submit’.

Application Fee

• The application process for the JEE Main 2016 will not be completed with the payment of the Application fees. The application fees various according to the categories of the candidates and also their preference of taking the Online/Offline exam. The Application fees for the various categories is as follows -

1. Offline Exam

• General/OBC (Paper 1 or Paper 2) – Rs. 500 Girls/Rs 1000 Boys
  
• PWD/SC/ST (Paper 1 or Paper 2) – Rs.500 Girls/Rs. 500 Boys
  
• General/OBC (Paper 1 & 2) – Rs. 900 Girls/Rs. 1800 Boys
  
• PWD/SC/ST (Paper 1 & 2) – Rs. 900 Girls/Rs. 900 Boys

2. Online Exam

• General/OBC (Paper 1 or Paper 2) – Rs. 250 Girls/Rs. 500 Boys
  
• SC/ST/PWD (Paper 1 or Paper 2) – Rs. 250 Girls/Rs. 250 Boys
  
• General/OBC (Paper 1 & 2) – Rs. 650 Girls/Rs. 1300 Boys
  
• PWD/SC/ST (Paper 1 & 2) – Rs. 650 Girls/Rs. 650 Boys

The application fees can be paid in the following ways –

• Using net banking/credit card/debit card.
  
• It can also be paid using e-challan from HDFC Bank, Canara Bank, Syndicate
  
• Bank or ICICI Bank.
  
• Make sure you take a printout of the receipt for further reference.
  
• Without paying fee no JEE Main Application Form will be accepted.
