JEE Main 2014: Do’s and Don’ts
JEE Main 2014 examination will be conducted on April 06, 2014. Students, who want admission in one of the IITs, NITs or other reputed engineering institutions in India, take this exam. JEE Main 2014 answer key will also be available one or two days after the exam.

For those, who are appearing in the JEE Main exam for the first time, they must know the do’s and don’ts to be followed in the JEE examination. JEE exam pattern has been changed recently and not many students are aware of it. We here share some points to be remembered (Do’s) and some things to be avoided (Don’ts) during JEE Main exam. Read them carefully and try to follow each and every point.
Do’s
• Do regular practice and study regularly
• Do homework regularly
• Try more to sharpen your concepts and basics
• Remember each and every formula with heart
• Give enough time for self-study
• Revise regularly
• Practice with the problems and examples
• Practice with the OMR sheets to improve your speed
• Focus more on high scoring areas
• In the exam, start with the question that you know the best
• Take proper rest and relax whenever you need to
• Manage time properly so that you have enough time to fill the OMR sheet (at least one hour at the end)
• Stay positive and confident
• Read the instructions carefully and follow all the rules
Don’ts
• Do not expect paper to be easy and prepare for the worst
• Do not lose confidence even if the paper is difficult
• Do not mark an answer before reading all the options
• Do not waste too much time on a single question
• Don’t indulge yourself in the inappropriate activities like cheating.
• Do not panic
• Do not break any of the rules
