JEE Main 2014 Admit Card and Exam

The central board of secondary education (CBSE) will conduct the JEE Main 2014 Entrance Exam in both online and offline mode. In online mode, the entrance exam is scheduled for 9, 11, 12 and 19 April 2014 while, in the offline mode, the entrance exam will be conducted on 6 April 2014. The JEE Main is the first step in the process of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) followed by the JEE advanced conducted for the top one lakh fifty thousand candidates qualifying in the exam of JEE Main 2014. In order to appear for the exam, the applicants are required to fill the application form in the mode available by meeting the eligibility criteria and further appear for the exam with a printed copy of the JEE Main 2014 Admit Card.

JEE Main 2014 Eligibility Criteria:

As mentioned earlier, it is essential for the applicants to meet the eligibility criteria for filling the application form and further appearing in the entrance exam. Below mentioned points are associated with the eligibility criteria set by the CBSE.

  • The applicant qualifying the class XII or any equivalent entrance exam in the year 2012 or 2013 are eligible for the exam
  • The entrance exam of JEE Main can be attempted by the applicant thrice and in case, the applicant has already appear thrice then the candidate is not eligible for the exam
  • The applicants clearing the class XII or equivalent exam in 2012 or 2013 are required to qualify with fur subjects. However, in case of applicants qualifying the exam in the year 2014 are required to qualify with five subjects
  • The mentioned eligibility norms are applicable to the candidates of Odisha and Maharashtra state as the admission in the respective state colleges will be based on their performance in JEE Main 2014.

JEE Main 2014 Admit Card

Talking about the admit card then it is most often than not regarded as the hall ticket or entry ticket issued by the central board of secondary education (CBSE). The JEE Main 2014 Admit Card has been released on 13 March 2014. To avail the document, the applicants are required to visit the official website, as no candidate will be sending the hall ticket through post or email.

It is important for the applicants to understand that the document most frequently referred to as admit card as it is used by the invigilator for validating and cross- checking with the applicants identity.
