JEE Advanced 2018 will be conducted for admission to the Undergraduate Courses leading to an Under-Graduate, Integrated Post-Graduate or Undergraduate-Postgraduate Dual Degree. These courses will be offered in the fields of Architecture, Engineering, Pharmaceutics, or Sciences. JEE Advanced 2018 is an all India level Entrance Examination managed by the seven zonal Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) on rotationally. Through this examination, the aspirants will get admissions into Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian School of Mines. The IIT JEE (Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination) is the second phase of JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination Main). JEE Advanced Registration 2018

·         The aspirants can register for JEE Advanced 2018 through online mode only.

·         JEE Advanced 2018 Registration will be started from the fourth week of April 2018.

·         The candidates will fill and submit the application form till the first week of May 2018.

·         No other mode will be entertained to get the JEE Advanced Application Form.

·         During registration, the candidates have to upload their scanned images in a given format.

·         The applicants must keep the printout of the JEE Advanced Application Form 2018 for future use.

Registration Fee

The applicants can pay the registration fee through online mode (Debit Card / Internet Banking) or offline mode (SBI Challan). The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Eligibility Criteria

Before registering for the examination, the aspirants must check their eligibility criteria. If candidates will not satisfy the given eligibility criteria, their candidature will be rejected.

Nationality

·         Indian Citizen of India can apply for this exam.

·         Persons of Indian Origin /Overseas Citizens of India candidates can also apply.

JEE Main 2018

·         For JEE Advanced 2018, Indian Nationals (including Overseas Citizens of India /Persons of Indian Origin) have to appear JEE Main 2018.

Performance in JEE Main 2018

·         The candidates should be among the top 2, 20,000 (including all categories) by securing positive marks in Paper 1 of JEE Main 2018.

Age Criteria

·         Age Limit: The candidates should be born on or after 01 October 1992.

·         Relaxation: There is a relaxation of Five Years for Scheduled Castes /Scheduled Tribes /Persons with Disability categories. Such candidates must be born on or after 01 October 1987.

Number of Attempts

·         The candidates must appear for JEE Advanced Examination (IIT JEE Examination) for a maximum of two times in the consecutive years.

·         The candidates, who appeared in JEE Advanced 2017 for the first time, are also eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2018.

Appearance in Class XII (or Equivalent)

·         The candidates should appear for the 10+ 2 or Equivalent Examination for the first time in either 2017 or 2018.

·         The candidates, whose 10+ 2 or Equivalent Examination result for the academic year 2015-2016 were announced after June 2016, are also eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2018.

Earlier Admission at Indian Institutes of Technology

·         The candidates should not be admitted in any IIT irrespective of whether or not they continued in the program or accepted the IIT seat by reporting at the reporting center in the past. The candidates, whose admission at IITs was canceled, are also not eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2018.

·         The candidates who are admitted to any preparatory program in any of the IITs for the first time in 2017, can apply for JEE Advanced 2018.

·         The candidates, who have paid the seat acceptance fee but not accepted the seat are eligible to appear in the JEE Advanced 2018.

Performance in 10 + 2 or Equivalent Examination

·         The candidates have to score minimum 75% aggregate marks (65% aggregate marks in case of Scheduled Castes /Scheduled Tribes /Persons with Disability) in 10+ 2 or Equivalent Examination.

·         The candidates must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of qualified candidates in their particular 10+ 2 or Equivalent Examination.

·         The candidates, who appeared in 10+ 2 or Equivalent Examination in 2017 but reappeared in 2018, the best of the two performances will be considered.
