Who is Jay The Analyst?

Jay Foster, also known as Jay The Analyst has made it his business to turn the regular follower into potential income for his clients.

Jay The Analyst’s entrance into the digital world was very traditional as he interned at one of the world’s largest tech companies and was eventually hired as a technical customer servicerepresentative.

While his employment was based in technology his personal interest was always in the music industry.

Growing up, Jay watched his father run an independent record label and gain minor acknowledgment in the music industry with his clients. While he loved the creativity of the artist his real interest was in the business of music. Although he didn’t want to be a manager or focus on promotions as his father did, he knew he wanted to merge his love of music and technology.

In 2011 Jay began working as a digital blogger covering independent artists and music events. Jay would research methods to get his content viewed by more people and introduced to the audience of major outlets and artists.

Through trial-and-error Jay began to see results in his efforts which initiated the start in his brand, That’s Dope Media that was officially launched in 2015.

Jay saw success in running campaigns for music artists and small businesses that lead to increased social engagement and eventually revenue and brand awareness.

As his company grew, Jay began to work with major artists and labels including Street Execs (2Chainz, Skooly, Bankroll, etc.) where he became the in-house Digital Marketing Director. Jay The Analyst was the lead agent on digital marketing campaigns for platinum selling artists such as Young Dolph, 2Chainz, Trouble and many more.

Although his job is to subliminally control the digital content that the average fan and users see on their screens, Jay admits that his best attribute is his ability to study and analyze the actions of social media users and giving them access to what they like even if they don’t know what that is yet.

Jay The Analyst was one of the lucky ones that was able to create a career within his passion. Cementing himself as a credible resource in the digital world, Foster continuously drops audio and video content on his YouTube and Instagram, and has evolved it into a full-length EP titled “Let’s Talk About Instagram Growth”
