Jack And Jill Foundation Awards Over $400,000 In Support Of Youth Programs
Newport, WA – 28th Sep -- Jack and Jill Foundation
President Lucille Allen Hadley reports that the Foundation is continuing its
mission of supporting youth and children. "This year, over 80 programs
throughout the United States have been awarded grants and scholarships to ensure
that we are investing in our future leaders," says Hadley.
Many organizations throughout the country apply for grants in the following
categories: Independent grants, Violet Greer grants, Jacqueline Robinson
grants, Lucille Allen Hadley Teen Service Project grants and Foundation
Scholars. The total grants for 2015-2016 year are over $400,000. Each year the
Foundation ensures that all grantees share the same vision as Jack and Jill of
America Foundation, "transforming African-American communities, one child
at a time."
Youth Mentoring with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Leadership Programs with the
Boys and Girls Club, educational STEM programs, Appalachian Trail Expeditions,
Emerging Scientist projects, Career Explorations and many more..

Brishaunna Angelise Mabry attending The University of Alabama
Henock Solomon attending University of Colorado Boulder
Amauri Hasani Ross attending Dartmouth College
Joseph Jidechukwu Enwerejobi attending Michigan State University
Nigel Lorenzo Barber attending North Carolina State University at Raleigh
Jack and Jill Foundation believes that students should be supported to and
through college. Each student is awarded $2,500 in the first year and must
maintain a 3.0 GPA to receive $2,500 each year, for up to four years.
