Is Your Brand Resonating Enough with Consumers?
by Denny F. My OpinionGiven how key your customers are to you, are you doing enough to
keep consumers coming to you happy?
In the pixels event there is more you can do, now would be a good time to
focus in on that.
By giving your customers all the effort, there is a better chance
of many of them sticking around for the long haul.
Never Take Customers for Granted
As you look to do even more for consumers you hope to turn into
customers and those you already have, zero in on:
1. Customer service – How can you expect to stay in business if
your service is mediocre at best? That is why you need to hammer home the idea
of top-notch customer service. Such service is likely to keep more individuals
coming back again and again. One of the ways to find out if your service passes
the test is communicating with customers in the first place. Whether in-person
chatter, online, surveys and more know what your customers are thinking. Doing
that puts you in a better position to meet their needs and even exceed them.
2. Best products – Do you have products that consumers will find
irresistible? The goal is to separate your brand from that of the competition.
In doing this, you stand to make more sales and of course increase revenue. As
an example, do you sell video gaming equipment? If so, is it a cut above what
the competition has to offer? The hope is you can say yes and feel good about
what you have to offer the buying public. From headsets for Xbox to other gaming needs, make sure your products attract folks.
When you know you are as good as if not better than the competition, you can
rest a little easier.
3. Online presence – With so many folks online these days, you’d
be nothing short of foolish not to be there with them. That said make sure your
online presence is as good as it can be. This means a viable website, activity
on social media, a small biz app, an online store and anything else to think
of. With such an online connection with the buying public, you can be in front
of their eyes and ears 24/7. Now, could anything be better than that?
4. Providing discounts – Last, make an effort to provide consumers
with discounts. That is whenever the opportunity presents itself. Doing so can
not only keep many of your current customers but also open the doors to new
ones. Many consumers go in search of deals. As such, you want to be one of
those businesses putting such discounts out there. Also make it a point to let
consumers know when those deals are available. You can do that especially with
your online presence.
Yes, being a small business owner is a big challenge to say the
least.
That said you have worked hard for the opportunity to be your own
boss.
As a result, do not miss out on the opportunity to give your
customers all they want.
When you do, odds are many of them will stay with you for the
foreseeable future.
