Is There Healing Class in GW2 & How Does Healing Work

There are many GW2 funs are Wow funs, for them are healers in Wow, is there any healing class in Guild Wars 2 and how does healing work? There is not any designated classes for roles and things, since everyone can heal and support. You can't JUST heal, but you can support your teammates with what amounts to spot healing. You will never heal someone else as much as they can heal themselves.

If just HEALING support is all you're looking for (IE, not buffing), then guardians, eles and engineers all have several skills to heal allies. Any class can spec into support one way or the other, though; warriors can plant banners, thieves can share life-leeching venoms, etc.

The most "Active" healing you'll find will be the Engineer with the med packs and the elixir gun toolbelt skill, and the Elementalist attuned to Water.

But you'll never replicate a trinity healer because [a] the heal amount is very small, it doesn't get close to the amount of damage a group can take, [b] The cooldowns are long enough that you can't spam them nor chain them one after the other over and over, there's going to be a good 5-10secs that you have to do something else besides heals.

The Guardian can be a healing class in Guild Wars 2 which is more PBAoE healing, meaning that it heals around the player, can't really target a player or location and heal except for one teleport utility that lets you heal the friendly with less health.

Necromancer can also be good healing support with their wells and traits that allow their minions to heal friendlies, and their ground AoE to heal friendies in it, etc.

On GW2fastc.com experts will tell players what weapons will suit for their class best and also the best ways to farming Guild Wars 2 gold. But in a way, what I was referring to when saying to each their own, is that a new player will enjoy the old features in WoW (and again, not just WoW, but games that follow similar mechanics) more then GW2. --Overall-- I'm sure most people will agree that Guild Wars 2 is a better game , but these individual changes may not necessarily be better in every way (aka the new way to go). They could just be a diferent way of going about it.
