Safety Joint
It is installed between the lower screws of the loading rolling machine and the upper and lower roller bearings, and equipped with a protective cover. When the rolling force exceeds the allowable value, the safety joint rupture increases the distance between the roll, which protects the roller. The material of the safety joint is generally used for hard and crispy cast iron. Its strength should be lower than the strength of the rolls and cannot be abused by casting steel or forging steel.
