Is EgoPay.com a scam?
Is EgoPay.com a scam?
Over the last few days,I am sure that many of you have seen emails about the so-called banning of MlM and other internet marketing sites by The Payza company.
What struck me when I read the first of these is that while the email claimed that everyone must transfer all funds from Payza to this new site called Egopay immediately or risk losing them. As a Payza business account holder and website owner, I had not heard one word from Payza regarding any changes to my sites ability to accept payments.
Naturally, I went to the Payza Blog to see what was really going on.
What I found was that Payza has updated the user agreement to ban certain types of websites, most of them illegal, from using their service.
NOT ONE WORD REGARDING MLM OR IM sites!!!
Also,There is no information about Egopay anywhere on the Payza blog. I have been reading emails from egopay affiliates saying things like You will lose all my Payza funds on July 20 if You do not switch to Egopay.
Payza and Egopay are working together. Egopay was started by Payza.
EgoPay is the new processor that you must join in order to continue using and receiving your Payza funds:
NONE OF THIS IS TRUE!!!
Payza has already notified all site owners that will be affected by this change and that is it. If the sites you are a member of are still using Payza than you will not be affected.
All I can say about all this is that after careful scrutiny of the Egopay website and it's policies, etc., I seen no reason to join or use them and frankly, after seeing all of the mis-spellings on the site ,the lack of merchants using the service and the fact that they are headquartered in BELIZE and could close TOMORROW with no fear of prosecution , This may just be the biggest internet scam I have ever seen.
Whenever this many lies are being used to recruit new members,I see red flags.
I for one will be watching to see what happens.
Do your homework on this one, folks.

Thank you for this article. I just joined a business that only accepts Payza and Egopay. I've always preferred business opportunities that accept Paypal because Paypal are quite strict about who they take on board, plus I have been able to organise refunds through Paypal when a company doesn't produce what it promises in its sales pitch. I was thinking of joining Egopay and noticed a spelling mistake on the home page, a big no-no for me. As for Payza, they can't allow me to add or remove funds d

There's another payment processor/ecurrency service that looks promising - OKpay. Has many good features and accepts various payment types including Bitcoin. Also offers a debit card.

EgoPay priority is security of EgoPay accounts and customer`s money. EgoPay offers you the ability to exchange, send and receive funds fast and secure in your e-wallet account online. Please keep in mind, EgoPay is in NO WAY owned, managed or linked to Payza in any way. EgoPay is offering to deposit and withdraw to Payza for the convenience of EgoPay customers, as EgoPay is now handling most of the clients Payza can no longer do business with, but EgoPay and Payza are 2 separate entities with th

Nice one, Aurang...I agree with your line of thought, since I don't this rumor since the first day I heard it...I even think its name is so "weird"..:) It is true that there is no allegation showing relation of egoPay as an effect of Payza policy update, none of their clause.! So I think it is a misleading information, ....and will it end as scam..? Don't have any clue at the moment, but It is good the stay alert..
Thank You for sharing, Aurang...excellent article as usual..:)

Suspicious indeed! Payza is based in Canada, so if Egopay was/is indeed affiliated with Payza, why operate from Belize? And, as you pointed out, no notification was sent by Payza about Egopay.

Thanks for this article. I had not researched this issue myself yet but I thought there was something fishy going on reading these mails you are referring to. I am in Payza myself and did not have any issues sending or receiving money. So I did see no reason for signing up or transferring funds.
