iPhone 7 Plus leaks indicate bigger battery
As of late, battery-oriented research and technology seems to be
one of the focal points of smartphone manufacturers and their users. Because
the truth is, it doesn’t matter how capable and state-of-the-art a smartphone
is; if it battery doesn’t last long enough for users to put those functions to
use, everything else fails. Eventually you get sick of your device’s life span
and get that content transfer app ready to make the switch.
Of course research is in play to improve battery life and
quality, but most of these efforts have resulted in bigger devices that can
house bigger batteries (that consequently last longer).
According to recent design leaks, many experts like SmartIO and more, say that it seems the iPhone 7 Plus
might be headed in the same direction. This means that those of us who find the
idea of a large device (no matter how high-end) unappealing, would have to
either have to “change our preferences” or our attitude. That is of course, if
the leaks are reliable and haven’t been “planted” as many always suspect the
big guns to do. The iPhone 7 Plus is yet to be announced, but considering how
much interest the latest iPhone always garners a lot of attention, it is hardly
surprising.
So according to a report published by a Chinese website called MyDrivers,
the iPhone 7 Plus is rumored to pack a 3100mAh battery. Yes, that’s 3100mAh…
350mAh more than the battery found in the latest iPhone being retailed, the
iPhone 6S Plus. According to the report, the iPhone 7 Plus would also come with
a built-in storage of 256GB, in addition to the regular storage variants.
