The Post Graduate Certificate Programme in Investment Banking (PGCPIB) is designed to offer the required knowledge for professionals to handle the various aspects of investment banking roles and responsibilities including asset management, security valuation, like stocks, bonds and other derivative instruments to meet specified investment goals for the benefit of the investors. The course also aims to cater the other functional areas of investment banking like Mergers & Acquisitions, Investment and portfolio management and investment advisory services to high net worth individuals. The programme also covers the knowledge of tools and techniques required for optimizing risk-returns framework within different asset classes.

The programme provides real-time knowledge and skills pertaining to Investment Banking. In short the programme will enable participants in taking informed and effective decisions in the areas of M & A, IPO’s, Valuation, Bond trading portfolio advisory services etc. and hands-on knowledge and skills to become a successful Investment Banker.

The programme aims to groom commerce or non-commerce graduates for core investment banking and other specialized finance jobs allied to Investment Banking, Equity Research, Credit Analysis, Financial Analysis, Project Finance, Portfolio Management, Capital Markets etc. By undertaking this course one can gain in-depth knowledge of the concepts and real-life application of Finance which are covered along with practical case studies.
