An extraordinary beginning stage for an interior structure venture is to become familiar with almost every style and also to know how they vary from each other. Fabrinox has a wide range of interior decor styles that prove to be very helpful these days.

MODERN

Modern is a broad design that ordinarily alludes to a home with clean, crisp lines, a simple colour palette and the utilization of materials that can incorporate metal, glass and steel.

Modern design employs a sense of simplicity in every element with the inclusion of furniture. A word that is generally used to portray modern style is sleek and there isn’t a lot of involvement of clutter and accessories with modern style interiors.

CONTEMPORARY

Two styles which are commonly used interchangeably are classic and contemporary. Contemporary is totally different from classic.

The key distinction that distinguishes classic and contemporary style of design is that classic is a strict definition of design that began in the 20th century. In comparison, contemporary is more dynamic and can reflect a sense of simplicity with less adherence to a particular style. For example, contemporary style may include curving lines, whereas modern design does not. You may refer to historic v/s contemporary article for more detail.

MINIMALIST

Minimalist take ideas of industrial architecture and then simplifies them. The color palettes are light and airy, the furnishings are plain and minimalist and nothing in the accessories or decor is extravagant or flamboyant. In the end, minimalist
is characterized through a sense of simplicity and ultra-clean lines.

INDUSTRIAL

As the name suggests, the industrial style takes influence from a factory or an urban loft. Many of the elements have a feeling of unfinished rawness and it's not unusual to see exposed brick, duct work, and wood. A restored loft from an old industrial building will be an iconic home with an urban design theme.

Think of high ceilings, old timber and sparsely-functional decorated metal light fixtures. There may be one or two pieces of abstract art or photography to give a splash of color to a paint scheme otherwise natural derived from primary wood and metal materials.

MID-CENTURY MODERN

Classic mid-century is a throwback to mid-1900's architectural style — principally the 1950's and 60's. In Mid-Century Modern Style, there are a retro nostalgia current also some elements of minimalism. The main trend for Mid-century architecture was versatility or fussy-free. It emphasizes on pared-down styles, natural or organic shapes such as chair, contemporary designs, etc  that are easy to use and basic fabrications. It easily complements every interior and also assists in smooth transition from inside to outside.

TRADITIONAL

Modern style of design provides traditional measurements, sumptuous furnishings and a variety of accessories. This is rooted to sensitivities against Europe.

Often traditional homes feature dark finished wood, rich palettes of paint and a range of textures and curved lines. The furniture has elaborate and ornate features and fabrics such as velvet, silk and brocade that can include a variety of patterns and textures. In most conventional designs there's width, layering and dimensions

TRANSITIONAL

Transitional is a very common style and in terms of one style or another, it borrows from both traditional and modern design to promote a room that isn't too much. New materials such as steel and glass can be used in a transitional style and then combined with plush furnishings.

Transitional design also incorporates color palettes that are largely neutral, creating a soothing and relaxing room that manages to look both stylish, elegant, warm and inviting.
