Interesting Facts I Bet You Never Knew About PERL training

by shivkumar singh Digital Marketing Executive

There are few things which  you may not recognize when you think  about Perl and if we talk about Perl it  is that there are an awful lot of disinformation out there, and it’s really hard for somebody who’s not very recognizable with Perl.

What I’m going to do, now is that to pick out the few top tips which  you have never heard about, and  must give a reaction to them. I’m not trying to convince you to use Perl are do perl training from any Perl Training In Noida - the only way for you to know if it’s for you is to get on and try it - but hopefully I can let you see that not all of what you hear is correct.

First, though, let’s make sure we know what Perl is, and what it’s for.

Perl is a broad-purpose programming language. The answer to the question `Can I do all this in Perl?’ is very much a`yes’. It’s often used for little system managing tasks and for CGI and other web stuff, but that’s not the end. We’ll see soon that one can use Perl for full-sized projects as well.

Perl is sometimes called a `scripting’ language, but only by those who don’t like it or are unaware of it. Initially, there is no real difference between programming and scripting - it’s all just telling the computer what all you want it to do. Secondly, even if there was, Perl’s as much of a scripting language as Java or C. Here we are going to talk about Perl programs, but you might hear some people calling them Perl scripts. Those who call them programs’ on the whole are the better ones.

Following are few facts of PERL training which people are unaware to:

  • DBA Filter
  • You can lock up hashes
  • File handles with a -
  • You can find the name of a subroutine with Devel::Peek
  • A "dubugger" doesn't have to debug
  • You can write scripts in UTF-8
  • There's a new way of trapping signals
  • Subclassing exporter

Conclusion

There are still few things which are still undiscovered even about the internals of Perl itself, and many techniques which are only now being exploited to give interesting results. Source filters sat in the Perl core for a few years before people realized what sort of things could have been done with them. We've taken a look at few of the lesser known corners of Perl... it's up to you to do out of the ordinary things with them!
