KVPY stands for Kishore Vaigyanic Protsahan Yojana which is a national level test conducted by Dept. of Science and Technology under Government of India. It is a fellowship exam that provides fellowship to the qualified candidates to encourage their innovative work in the field of research based programs. KVPY 2016 Important Dates:
The online application for the exam has been started on 18 July 2016. Last date to submit application forms is 30 August 2016. The candidates those who apply for the exam can download their admit card for the exam from 5 October 2015 and KVPY Exam 2016 will be conducted on 6 November 2016.
KVPY 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
The candidates those who want to appear in exam will have to submit their application form, but prior to filling the application form candidates must check the details for eligibility conditions required for the exam.
Eligibility criteria is a set of conditions that is decided by the examining body to set a standard for the candidates those who can appear in exam. Without satisfying all the eligibility conditions candidates will not be able to appear in KVPY 2016 Exam. KVPY 2016 Application Fees:
Without application fees, candidates' application form will not be considered complete. They will have to pay application fees till the last date. Candidates will have to submit application fees of 200/- via online mode or challan form. Those who are paying fees through debit card needs to submit their application fee to account number 10270577392. Candidates of SC, ST and PH category do not have to pay any application fees.
KVPY Admit Card
To appear in KVPY 2016 Admit Card candidates will need their admit card and carry it to the exam hall in originals. Without the admit card candidates will not be able to appear in exam. It will be released only for the candidates those who have completed their application process for the exam. It is expected that admit card will be available after the second week of October 2016.
KVPY Selection Procedure
Selection of candidates in KVPY Exam 2016 will be done on the basis of their innovative capabilities. Exam will include holistic and practical approach as well. There will be two rounds of selection. First will be written aptitude test and second will be personal interview round. The candidates qualifying the written exam will be selected for the interview round.
