Indian football team prepares with army training

The Indian football team is gearing up for the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers ahead with a special preparatory camp.  The special preparatory camp was organized in association with the Indian army and stands out as one of the first of its kind. Since football is a team game it is very important to build a comprehensive understanding between the players.

 The initiative was taken to enhance the understanding between the players and also the mental toughness factor which certainly plays an imperative role here.  The ASC centre was selected as the venue of the camp where 21 different courses were outlined for the players.  All these obstacle courses consist of barriers and the players needed to overcome them one after the other.
 
The countdown has already begun for the World Cup qualifying campaign with the first opponent being Oman. Head coach Stephen Constantine is always ready to provide the players with the right boost before the match.
 
The army training session acted as a great physical and psychological test for the players and all of them felt quite elated to participate in it. As per the Indian coach Stephen Constantine, the players need to perform appropriately when the pressure is immense. Since it is an international tournament where intense competition is involved, the players needs to be in the right frame of mind before every single game. The army training session involving different courses just made them hard task masters and perform well under difficult situations.
 
Football is a team game and decisions need to be taken very quickly. It is very important to be physically and mentally fit before a game. The army training session also helped the players to test their physical ability as they are quite strenuous and involves a considerable amount of physical fitness.  The players needs to rely on each other as far as individual situations are concerned. 

As per the star defender of the Indian football team Sandesh Jhingan, the team is quite motivated to take on the Oman side in the upcoming game. India has been clubbed in a group which consists some of the powerhouses of Asian football like Iran. It is quite an uphill task to beat a team like Iran and Oman and proceed further in the group. India has a team which is a blend of youth and experience.  As per the current team which has been selected by Stephen Constantine, some of the previous senior players have been left out. 

As the President of the All India Football Federation, minister Praful Patel has contributed immensely for the growth of Indian football. The AIFF is extending all its support to the Indian team as they prepare ahead for the World Cup qualifiers.

After the 21 course barrier came to an end, the players thanked the coach for this grand initiative. Constantine aims to build a team for the future and under the Praful Patel biography, the Indian team has won several prestigious tournaments in the past.
