Increase Your Conversion Ratio Online

by Hridoy Ahmed Search Engine Optimization(SEO)

Not very encouraging, is it? Of course, there are many factors that affect your conversion ratio. The most important is the type of site you have. If you have a content site that offers free articles with a book for sale in case someone is interested, your conversion ratio will likely be well below 1%. If your site consists of a massive list of products and is attracting targeted, ready-to-buy visitors, your 換股比率 (Conversion ratio) will likely be above 2%.

Regardless of what type of website you have or what you sell, chances are your conversion ratio can be improved. But there are companies on the Internet with conversion ratios above 10%. Now you need to find out how they made that happen. What are they doing differently from you? There's a lot to learn if you just take a look at it, see what's going on, and see the results.

First, emphasize the benefits of your product. This is important. If you want your clients to take a quick walk, put your mission statement on the home page. Don't mention the price until the end. You first have to convince them of the value of your product. Give them something for free, like a free e-book, newsletter subscription, etc., so you give them something to remember you for. You can really increase your conversion ratio simply by becoming a familiar and trustworthy voice. They will buy you sooner or later.

Give them options and different product packages and different payment options. This seems obvious, but few people do it. Don't hurt your conversion ratio by not being flexible. You want to sell to the emotions of your customers, but offer them links to any technical information on your site where they can go if they want. Encourage feedback and make it easy for them to ask questions. Place an email link on each page. Simply adding a "FAQ" section is not enough on its own.

Bring your website and transaction process to life. In other words, your website must not be mechanical or robotic. The biggest element missing from the web is the human element. Use wording on your website similar to what if you were talking to a friend, cut out the business jargon. Try to view your business on the Web as person-to-person transactions rather than business-to-business. Define the outcome you want your customer to experience. It is not your product or service, but how your product or service makes the customer feel. It should be all about them, not about you. Focus on the result.

Put a phone number on your site, so you can help people with their buying decision. Put credit card logos, shipping company logos; logos of secure servers, other credibility creators such as BBB or chambers of commerce to which you belong. Include web pages for warranty, warranty, and return merchandise information. Be sure to indicate how long you've been in business if it's been more than a couple of years. Lastly, be sure to include your physical mailing address. It will help with local searches. Take a good look at your site and if you're not converting at least 3-5% of your traffic, it's time for a site review. Remember, every time you double your conversion ratio, you double your income.
