Important Dates For JEE Main 2016 Exam

The exam will be conducted for the admission of the candidates in NITs, GFTIs, IIITs, etc. It is a national level exam and a huge number of candidates take part in it. The exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education. Important Dates For JEE Main 2016:

The online registration for Exam of  JEE Main 2016 is expected to start in the first week of November 2015. The last date to register for the exam will be in the third week of December 2015. The admit card for the registered candidates will be released in the third week of March 2016. The offline exam will be conducted in the first week of April 2016 and the online exam will be conducted in the second week of April 2016. The result for the exam will be released in the last week of April 2016 and rank list will be available in the first week of July 2016.

These details for the dates are tentative, therefore the candidates are requested to keep an eye on all the recent notifications for the exam and keep themselves updated.

Eligibility Criteria For JEE Main 2016:

The candidates those who are eligible will only be allowed to take admission in the colleges or appear in the exam. CBSE has clarified that the application forms of the ineligible candidates will not be accepted under any circumstances. Therefore, it is necessary for them to satisfy all the eligibility conditions prior to filling up the form.
The candidates those who want to appear in Exam of JEE Main 2016 must have born on or after 1 October 1991. Relaxation of 5 years has been granted to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories. They must have qualified the class XII exam in 2014 or 2015. Candidates those who are in class XII and will be giving their exam in 2016 are also eligible for the exam. Moreover, the candidates should have studied five subjects in class XII including Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.

Application Form For JEE Main 2016:

After checking the eligibility criteria, the candidates can fill and submit their application form for JEE Main 2016. To do so, they will have to visit the official website as the form will not be available via any other mode. The forms are expected to be released in the first week of November 2015. It must be filled completely and correctly and should be submitted till the last date of form submission.

The board will be releasing the admit card only for the candidates those who successfully complete their application form and submit it on time.
