Many of us when we started in the fabulous world of logo design we wonder  why it is important to a high-resolution? as well in the following lines of this tutorial will clarify your doubts about it.

For starters what is the resolution of an Logo Design Services? as the resolution expresses the number of pixels that form a bitmap image. ( not to be confused with vector ) example:

creative logo design

A high-resolution image is very useful for high-quality prints should be aware that if they want to work in any print quality must have a resolution of 300 dpi (ie 300 dots or pixels per square inch of area printing).

Remember that the vast majority of images found on the internet are 72 dpi, which is 4 times less the quality needed for a good logo design impression, is that really for the images we see on our monitors do not need higher resolution.

Many of you already have noticed when printing an Logo design image found on the Internet, is viewed with the clarity with which they saw on screen? I think not, because the reason is none other than the image resolution.

A bear in mind:

  • Vector images retain their quality does not matter how we stretch the (escalemos). cdr,. al. eps, etc..
  • The bitmap images lose quality when scaled. Jpeg,. Bmp,. Png,. Gif, etc.
  • For printing in large format ( A3, A2, A1, A0, etc. .) is necessary to have high resolution images or vector images.
  • The current printers print at a very good quality, but nothing like the offset system .
  • Find on the Internet but certain types of images (photographs) is important then to have a good digital camera, not necessarily the type of professional with a 10 mega pixels to start this well.
  • Adobe Photoshop is essential for photo retouching and not all are good photographers.
  • In developing projects be it signs, billboards, banners, pictures, etc.. recommend working at the work required, for example personally billboards that do not require details to the user's view (they are several feet away) in photoshop work 50% of its size and whether they are very close in the case of banners for photo-quality work at is best.

I hope I have clarified certain doubts, still a long way to go in the wonderful world of design is why in later stationery design articles will publish more detailed tutorials and high-resolution photos for you as part of your design arsenal!
