IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test) 2016

About IIT JAM:-

The JAM (Joint Admission Test) Powered by Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) for the candidates of M.Sc. for entrance to integrated Ph.D. Degree programmers at IISc and M.Sc. (Two  Years), Dual Degree M.Sc. - Ph.D., M.Sc.-M.Tech, Joint MSC-Ph.D  and other Post-Bachelor Degree Programmers at IITs. The Many institute are participating IIT’s these are IIT Bhubaneswar, IIT Guwahati, IIT Madra, IIT Delhi, Bombay, IIT Indore, IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Kanpur, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Ropar.

       The Session JAM 2014 was completed in recently and now IIT Kanpur is going to release IIT JAM Application Form 2016 very soon.

Eligibility Criteria Of IIT JAM Exam 2016:- Candidate Should have their completed graduation with minimum 55% aggregate marks from recognized institutions.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus of JAM 2016 Exam:-  

            In the JAM Examination candidate have to attempt seven test papers and the all seven question papers will be conducted Online Computer based Test. The Duration of all seven question papers of the examination will be 3 hours. The Question Paper will be consisting of 60 questions carrying 100 marks. The Entire Question paper will be divided into three sections, A, B, C, all sections are compulsory. Questions in every section are of various types as mention below:-

§  Section A- This Section Comprise with 30 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) carrying one or two marks each. Every MCQ type question has 4 alternatives, out of which one choice is the right answer. The Applicant can select the answer by clicking the choice. In this section wrong answer will result in negative marks.

§  Section B- This Section Comprise with 10 Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) carrying two marks each. Every MSQ type question also has 4 alternatives but in MSQ candidate select one or more than one choice. There is no negative marking in this section.

§  Section C- This Section contains with 20 Numerical Answer Type (NAT) question carrying one or two marks each. In every NAT type question, candidates must have needed to virtual keyboard on the monitor to give the answer in a signed real number. And also in this section there is no negative marking. 

Online Registration Process of IIT JAM 2016 Exam:-

            Candidate applying for IIT JAM will read the below mention eligibility criteria before submitting IIT JAM 2016 online application form.

§  Aspirants must visit official website of IIT JAM Kanpur i.e. iitk.ac.in.

§  Aspirants must read carefully all instructions before clicking IIT JAM 2016 link.

§  Aspirants must also read sincerely full syllabus and exam pattern.

§  Aspirants would go on online application and open it.

§  Create user ID and Password.

§  Aspirants must fill up all details that required in application form and click on submit button.
