IFS 2015 Admit Card to be released soon

Graduate candidates in any stream, who wish to serve in Indian Forest Service and have already filled the application form will get the IFS 2015 Admit Card. This admit card will be issued by the Union Public Service Commission or UPSC. No admit card will be issued offline, i.e., they will not be sent to candidates. These admit cards will only be made available on the commission’s website. To download the IFS 2015 hall ticket, you need to login into your account by entering few necessary details. Post downloading the admit card, candidate must keep it safely till the completion of recruitment as this is the important ID proof.
 
Features of IFS 2015 Admit Card


1. IFS Admit Card will not be sent to the candidate’s postal address by any means.

2. E – Admit card can only be downloaded by visiting UPSC’s official website.

3. Only the hard copy of the admit card must be brought to the exam hall, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

4. Along with the IFS call letter, candidate must bring a valid photo ID proof like voter ID card, driving license or DL, aadhar card etc.

Downloading the IFS 2015 Admit Card -

Candidates can download the IFS admit card 2015 by accessing the official website of UPSC – www.upsc.gov.in. On the homepage of the website, candidate need to search for the correct link to download the e-admit card of IFS exam. Post clicking on the link, you just have to proceed to download the call letter by entering few basic but important details such as application number or registration number and date of birth, exactly and completely. Candidates must re-check the entered information at least once and then press the submit button. Upon clicking, the IFS 2015 Admit Card of Indian Forest Service 2015 will be shown on the screen. Once it appears on the screen download the IFS admit card and generate the printout of the admit card. If you wish you can also save the admit card in PDF format to download later.

Further in the admit card you will be able to see the you name, photograph, exam time and venue, your registration number, signature and few general instructions. If any candidate finds an error in the downloaded admit card, he/she must contact the commission for correction.

UPSC IFS 2015 Exam Pattern

The IFS exam has two stages which are as follows-

Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type) which selects the candidates for Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination;

This paper contains two papers, each for 200 marks and are compulsory. These paper will only contain objective type (multiple choices) questions. The language of these question paper will be either Hindi or English (except the English subject section of the exam). Bothe the papers must be completed in two hours and carries the criteria of deducting 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.

Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the final selection of candidates.
The written examination consists a total of six papers which have to be answered in English language only. The time allotted to write this exam is three hours carrying 200 marks each.
