IES 2017 Information

IES 2017 will be conducted by Union Public Service Commission. The dates for the exam has been released. The official notification and the application forms has been released on 28 September 2016. IES 2017 Important Dates

The official notification and the registration process for the exam will be starting on 28 September 2016. The last date to complete or submit the online application form is 21 October 2016. The IES Admit Card 2017 for the exam will be released in the month of December 2016. IES 2017 will be conducted on 8 January 2017. The result for the exam will be declared in the month of March 2017. The interview will be scheduled in April 2017 and the final result will be available from June 2017.

IES 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates those who want to appear in the exam will have to make sure that they are completely eligible for the same. The eligibility conditions that must be fulfilled by the candidates in order to be eligible for IES 2017 are as follows:

·        The candidate must either be Indian citizen or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of settling permanently. The person of India origin who has migrated to India from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African Countries of Zambia, Tanzania, Zaire, Uganda, Ethiopia, or from Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India. Such candidates must be able to provide the appropriate documents when required.

·        The age of the candidates must be between 21 to 30 years as on 1 January 2017.

·        The candidates must have completed their engineering degree from a recognized University.

IES 2017 Application Form

The application form for IES 2017 will be available from 28 September 2016. The candidates those who want to appear in the exam will have to fill and submit the application form and submit it till the last date for form submission. The form will be divided into two parts. The candidates will have to complete both the parts. They must take care that the details filled in the application form are correct and complete in all aspects.

Application Fee:

The application fee for the exam is 200/-. The candidates can pay it via debit card or credit card or net banking as well. Candidates can also pay fees as cash in any branch of SBI. Female candidates and those belonging to the SC, ST, PH categories do not have to pay any application fee.

To qualify IES 2017, Candidates have to attain IES Cut off 2017.
