IBPS SO Notification 2020 Online form Exam date

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) releases advertisement for Specialist Officer Notification every year. IBPS conducts Preliminary and Main for Specialist Officers posts in Participating Banks. This year The Pre & main exams are to be held in December 2020 and January 2021. Those who qualify both, have to appear for Interview.

Candidates can submit online application for IBPS SO 2020 at www.ibps.in website.

Name of the posts in Specialist officer cadre are:

Law Officer
HR/Personnel Officer
I.T. Officer
Agricultural Field Officer
Rajbhasha Adhikari
Marketing Officer

IBPS SO Exam date:

Pre exam is to be held on 26.12.2020 and 27.12.2020. Main exam is to conducted on 30.01.2021.

Age requirement: 20 and 30 years

Age relaxation:

3 years for OBC
5 years for SC & ST categories
10 years for PH

Selection of candidates will be done through Preliminary & main exam and interview. Pre exam will have 150 questions carrying 125 marks and 120 minutes duration. Both Pre & Mains exam will be conducted online.

Pre exam will have questions from 3 sections which are given below.

English language
Reasoning
General Awareness with Special Reference to Banking Industry for Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari posts / Quantitative aptitude for other posts.
40 minutes time is given for each section.

Main exam:

For Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer and Marketing Officer: 60 questions, 60 marks and 45 minutes time.
For Rajbhasha Adhikari posts: 45 questions of objective type and 2 questions of descriptive type. with 30 minutes time for each.
