IBPS PO Cutoff 2016 to be Checked for Better Preparation
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducts an exam for the recruitment of Probationary Officers and Management Trainee. The examination consists of Prelims, Main examination and interview round. The candidates must have knowledge about the IBPS PO cutoff marks of any competitive exam to know what they are competing for. This helps them know how much they need to score in order to clear the exam. It helps the candidates have a clear focus. It is necessary to clear each section of the test in order to clear the IBPS CO CWE which makes it even more difficult to crack.
There are lakhs of potential candidates who appear for the IBPS PO CWE every year. According to previous records 7 lakh candidates applied for IBPS PO in 2015 while 10 lakh candidates applied in 2014. The IBPS PO cutoff marks depend on the number of candidates taking the exam and also the level of the exam. The cutoff for 2013 was lower than that for 2011 and 2012 because the objective test was too difficult. The number of vacancies also determines the IBPS PO cutoff mark. In 2016 the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection declared a total of 22415 PO Vacancies in 20 Participating banks. The vacancies are expected to rise even more in the coming years. This means an increase in competition and also a hike in the IBPS PO cutoff marks of the CWE 2016.

As far as competition goes it is only going to get tougher every year. The candidates are advised to score as high as possible in the CWE to get a clear cut entry into the next rounds of selection. The cutoff marks for 2016 are as follows –
The candidates taking the IBPS PO CWE must give their best and essentially put in a lot of hard work to score high in the written test. As the level of the syllabus is not too difficult it is not that difficult to score well with consistent practice and regular study.

- SC – 70 marks
