IBPS PO 2016 Details

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is the official conducting body for the post of Probationary Officers and Management Trainees in the public sector banks. The official notice regarding the IBPS PO 2016 has been released by the IBPS. The online registration will be open to all prospective candidates from 26th July 2016 onwards. The notice regarding the IBPS PO Exam is available on the official IBPS website. This will be conducted as a two part exam where the candidates need to first clear the Prelims and then appear for the Mains. Those candidates who clear the Mains with the required cut off marks will then be called for the personal interview. Those who clear the interview round will then be selected for the available posts.

The Common Written Test conducted by the IBPS is for candidates wanting to claim available posts in the banking sector and participating banks. The IBPS is an autonomous body and conducts the CWE to recruit RRB, SO and Clerk as well. The candidates who want to appear for the CWE must be well aware of the eligibility criteria before applying for the IBPS PO Exam 2016. Since the application process is online, it is a fairly easy process. Once you successfully apply for the exam, you will receive your Admit card. Make sure you keep your Admit card carefully till the end of the examination process. This document will be required during the time of allotment.


Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must be graduates of any discipline from a recognized University or college.
• The minimum age to apply for the exam is 20 years while the maximum age is 30 years.
