IBPS PO 2016 Exam Details
To recruit Probationary Officers or Management Trainees, Institute of Banking Personnel Services will conduct the online preliminary examination on 03, 04, 10 & 11 October 2016. The admit card to appear in this exam has already issued by IBPS on 23 September 2016 and the result for the same will be out in the month of October 2016. Candidates qualifying the IBPS PO 2016 prelims will be further allowed to appear in the main examination. The main examination of IBPS PO will be conducted on 31 October 2016 and the call letter for this exam will be made available in the month of October 2016.

IBPS PO 2016 Scores & Cut Off marks:
a) Using the equi-percentile method, the marks obtained by the candidate will be normalized in different sessions (if held).
b) for the purpose of calculations, the Scores will be taken up to two decimal points.
c) 3/4th of Standard Deviation will be considered for reserved categories such as SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD while 1/4th of Standard Deviation will be taken for General Category candidates.
d) As per the requirement, there will be a second level cutoff point on the total.
e) On the basis of decided cut offs, the candidates will be shortlisted for interview.

After the declaration of result for both the IBPS PO 2016 exams in October and November respectively, the candidates will be called for the interview round. The interview round will be conducted in the month of January 2017 and the selected candidates in this round will be considered for provisional allotment which will be carried out in April 2017.

- There are three subjects from which the questions will be asked
- Subjects such as Reasoning Ability & English Language will carry 35 question for 35 marks each while there will be 30 questions for 30 marks in Numerical Ability.
- The time allotted to solve the whole question paper will be 01 hour.
II. Main examination:
- The 05 subjects that are included in this exam.
- Each subject will carry 40 question to its credit and the maximum marks in each subject will be 40.
- The time provided to solve the paper will be 02 hours.
- There are 200 questions in total which account for 1200 marks.
